About the CCCE

The Committee on Computers in Chemical Education (CCCE) is a standing committee of the Division of Chemical Education (DivCHED) of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Our mission is to encourage and support the development, assessment and use of computing technologies in chemical education.

The CCCE holds one open meeting and one members-only meeting at each Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE). We also hold online meetings throughout the year.

ConfChem Online Conferences & the CCCE Newsletter

The CCCE holds online ConfChem conference throughout the year and a Newsletter in the Fall.  These are open to the public and you do not need to be a member of the ACS, DivCHED or a citizen of the U.S.. To participate you need to subscribe to the ConfChem listserv at this link, and set up an account on the CCCE website (which can be done from this page).

If you are interested in joining the CCCE you can contact the chair, Dr. Robert E. Belford (rebelford@ualr.edu). To view current members please go to the member's page.
